Florida Medicare Plans

We take a professional approach to Medicare insurance consulting. We do not engage in endless phone calls or spam emails. Instead, we will provide accurate quote comparisons and explain your Medicare options clearly. We can help you enroll in excellent Medicare insurance plans over the phone.

Florida is the third most populous state in the US and a popular retirement spot.  The majority of our Medicare insurance clients reside in Florida. With regard to Medicare Supplement pricing, Florida is an "issue age" state. This means your Medigap premium price is based on your age at the time you enroll in the plan. Unlike other pricing methods, "issue age" plans will not increase over time due to your age (although they may increase due to inflation and rising health care costs). Because it is an "issue age" state, Florida's Medicare Supplement plans are usually less expensive in the long-run than an "attained age" plan.

Medicare Supplement Insurance is designed to help pay for the medical expenses that Medicare Part A and Part B don't cover. As explained above, Medicare Supplement Insurance in Florida is "issue age" priced. As is the case in most states, Florida residents have access to 10 types of Medicare Supplement plans. Each of these plans is Federally regulated. That means each specific type of plan is identical regardless of which insurance carrier you purchase it from. In Florida, our most popular Medigap plan is Plan F, although we believe that Plan G will become the most popular plan beginning in 2020. Many also find Plan N to be competitive in Florida. We have Florida Medigap plans available from multiple carriers, including Humana, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare®.

More than 1.8 million Florida residents are enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans. Florida residents looking to save on monthly premium costs, might find Florida Medicare Advantage plans attractive. Medicare Advantage is offered by private insurance companies and typically has a very low premium. Our most popular Medicare Advantage plans in Florida are offered by UnitedHealthcare® and Humana. Florida residents can review their Medicare Advantage options and self-enroll if they choose using our instant quoter.

Medicare Part D is also known as Prescription Drug Coverage. This is a type of insurance that is designed to help Medicare recipients with the cost of prescription drugs. We have competitive Florida prescription plans for you to choose from. There are over 1000 pharmacies in Florida that accept our plans including Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Albertsons, Target, Sams Club, Publix, Winn-Dixie, and many more. Florida residents can use our instant quoter to instantly review their Part D options and even self-enroll, if they'd like.
